Learning Mobility for "E-mentorship for (e)quality in Early Childhood Education" Project Held in Adıyaman
Learning Mobility for “E-mentorship for (e)quality in Early Childhood Education” Project Held in Adiyaman.
Adiyaman University hosted a significant learning mobility for the “E-mentorship for (E)quality in Early Childhood Education” project in Adiyaman, Turkey. The mobility aimed to bridge the gap between experienced and novice teachers to enhance early childhood education and reduce the achievement gap among young children.
The first day of the learning mobility was dedicated to partners’ presentations, covering crucial aspects of project management and implementation processes. Discussions included the development of project work packages, dissemination strategies, and financial management. These sessions provided a comprehensive overview of the project’s progress and future directions.
On the second day, participants enjoyed a tour of some of Adiyaman’s historic sites on the second day, including Cendere Bridge, Arsemia, Karakus Tumulus, Kahta Castle, and Mount Nemrut. This cultural excursion aimed to foster camaraderie among participants and introduce them to the region’s rich heritage.
The project focuses on developing a robust e-mentorship program tailored for novice preschool teachers working in schools with predominantly disadvantaged students. By fostering a supportive, one-to-one mentorship environment, the initiative seeks to enrich the educational experiences of both teachers and students.
Adiyaman University, the coordinating institution, Be-Creative Association, ILA, Centro Internazionale Per La Promozione Dell Educazione E Lo Sviluppo Associazione, and Wyzsza Szkola Biznesu I Nauk O Zdrowiu collaborate in the project.
