Meeting with Ukrainian Academics for E-Mentorship Project in Early Childhood Education
Meeting with Ukrainian Academics for E-Mentorship Project in Early Childhood Education
On December 2, the project team met with Ukrainian academics specialising in early school education to advance the “E-Mentorship for (E)quality in Early Childhood Education” project. The initiative aims to bridge the gap in early childhood achievement by fostering an innovative one-to-one e-mentorship program for novice preschool teachers working in disadvantaged communities.
During the meeting in Khmelnytsky, academics explored the project’s mentorship methodology and discussed integrating Ukrainian early school educators into the program. Key topics included translating project content into Ukrainian, fostering collaboration between Ukrainian teachers and their counterparts from partner countries, and building cross-border connections to enhance early childhood education practices.
The meeting proved to be highly beneficial, paving the way for increased inclusion and international cooperation in early childhood education. This collaboration highlights the partners’ commitment to reducing educational disparities and supporting teachers globally.
